Another busy weekend here but things are taking shape nicely. I now have 2 double rows of towers fully functioning with irrigation and timers (space for about 200 plants) and have started moving pots from the temporary towers I had setup by the house. I also have several trays of seedlings that I started from seed that are almost ready for transplanting.
The row of herbs is looking great and I’ve already made a batch of pesto with some of the basil I harvested (it was delicious, by the way). I also have Cilantro, Parsley, Chives, Rosemary, Lavender, Thyme, Sage, Dill, Epazote, Stevia and Oregano all going well.
Over on the left side of the picture you can see the ground pots – more to come on that but I am in the process of getting the irrigation setup for those – and I’m excited to share that I’m experimenting with hydroponic Sweet Corn – that’s right, Sweet Corn. I have 2 to 3 plants in a 3 gallon container of coco coir all feed hydroponic nutrients – it should be quite a sight. More to come on that as they grow.
